BRINGS US TO ITEM NUMBER THREE, DIRECTOR'S SUPPORT DIRECTOR GRIFFIN.

UM, GOOD EVENING.

I'M REPORTING ON ACTION TAKEN BY THE CITY COUNCIL LAST WEEK.

UM, THEY REVIEWED SEVERAL CASES THAT WERE PRE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.

UM, THEY COMPLETED THE SECOND READING OF THE MOON VALLEY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND THEY APPROVED THE REQUEST.

THEY CONDUCTED THEIR PUBLIC HEARING AND FIRST READING OF THE ORDINANCE FOR THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE, UM, THE VISTA ROCK CASE WHERE THEY WERE TRYING TO OCCUPY AN RV WHILE THEY BUILT A HOME.

UM, THEY ALSO COMPLETED IT FOR THE 50 HIGH GABRIEL EAST EDITION MINOR PUD.

UM, THAT ONE, THE APPLICANT AGREED AT THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION TO AMEND THEIR BASE DISTRICT TO LC TWO A AND, UM, THEY'VE ASKED TO JUST CHANGE THEIR ZONING TO LC TWO A.

SO THE COUNCIL SUPPORTED THAT.

UM, IT MADE SENSE SINCE THERE WERE NO EXTRA CONDITIONS.

UH, THEY ALSO REVIEWED THE METRO WAY MEDICAL CENTER PLAIN UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND APPROVED THAT REQUEST.

AND THE, UM, TECH TOWN PROJECT THAT WAS THE HEAVY COMMERCIAL PROJECT OFF OF HERO WAY.

UM, WE ALSO HAD A DISCUSSION WITH THE COUNCIL ABOUT AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPOSITE ZONING ORDINANCE.

THERE WAS A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT CASE WHERE SOMEONE WAS REQUESTING, UH, A VARIANCE TO ALLOW A CARPORT IN FRONT OF THEIR, THEIR HOME.

AND THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, UH, DENIED THE REQUEST BECAUSE IT DIDN'T MEET THE CRITERIA FOR A VARIANCE, BUT THEY SUGGESTED THAT THE COUNCIL CONSIDER AN UPDATE TO THE ORDINANCE.

SO COUNCIL DIRECTED STAFF TO DO THE RESEARCH.

SO WE'LL ALSO SHARE THAT WITH THE COMMISSION SINCE Y'ALL WILL GET TO REVIEW THE ORDINANCE REQUEST.

UM, FINALLY, WE HAVE A JOINT WORKSHOP, UH, WITH THE COMMISSION AND COUNSEL COMING UP THIS MONTH.

IT'S, UH, NOVEMBER 17TH.

UM, I BELIEVE IT STARTS AT SIX O'CLOCK.
